“I took my Toyota in for an oil change and to fix the horrible rattle of the tailpipe on 5/18/2015.. I'd recently had a deer destroy the entire front of my car and wanted to make sure the exhaust system was safe and not falling off to cost another large sum of money. I don,t recall the name of the man at the desk but he calmly told me they'd check and know within ten minutes what was wrong. He came back and explained about the heat shield near the engine being loose and I had the option of just removing it to solve the rattle problem, which I opted to do. I worked with three employees that day, each was friendly, courteous and dedicated to customer satisfaction. I was out in less than 30 minutes. I was impressed by their honesty because they could have told me I needed extensive repairs and I wouldn't have known the difference. They had no way of knowing I'm director of a county agency working with women in various life areas. It's very hard to find a business to trust to give these women honest evaluations of repairs to their cars on their limited incomes. This Tuffy franchise will be recommended to my family, friends and the people I serve in Warren County as the place to go for an honest estimate of their repairs and routine maintenance. “July 8, 2014 Tuffy Auto Service, I just wanted to write a letter to show our appreciation for the care and attention given to our family by your store. We had just started our family vacation and had left our home in Florida just a few days earlier. We were traveling thru Cincinnati and were on a tight schedule to make it to the Cleveland area to watch our Nephews play in a High School Summer Basketball Tournament. Living so far away, we had never had the opportunity to watch them play in person. We happened to be on Fields Ertel Road when we noticed gasoline coming from underneath our vehicle and we immediately pulled into a parking lot and shut off our van. Fortunately we saw an Auto Repair Store and pushed our van across the parking lot to the store. The guys at that store said that they didn’t have the equipment to fix our vehicle, but suggested we walk over to the Tuffy Store to talk with them. When we walked into the Tuffy Auto Service Store we were greeted by the Manager, Jeff Wilson. We explained our problem to him and he walked over to the other car repair store to look at the van. Jeff helped us get the van back over to Tuffy and had it up on a lift within a few minutes. Jeff knew we needed (wanted) to be at a basketball game in Northern Ohio that afternoon. He put three guys working on our van right away. Ten minutes after we arrived, our van’s gas tank had already been removed and was sitting in the parking lot….. it was like watching a pit stop at the Indy 500! Jeff suggested we go across the street and get something to eat while they were working on the van. We were just finishing eating when Jeff called us on our cell phone, our van was finished and ready to go! Thanks to Tuffy Auto Service, Jeff Wilson and a Great Group of Guys out in the shop, we were back on the road and on our way to the basketball game. We made it to the game and it was still in the 1st half when we arrived. We ended up traveling to 10 States, Canada and over 2,500 miles during our vacation without any more problems.
